OptiScore is a Marie Curie Industry-Academia Transfer of Knowledge Programme (TOK IAP). It was established to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between innovative engineers and leading animal scientists over a 4 year period from August 2006 to July 2010. It is coordinated by Scotland-based sensor development company IceRobotics and involves 8 international academic partners.

The project will use electronic sensors to support the identification and measurement of traits which are appropriate and relevant for sustainable organic dairy farming breeding programmes.
